Rocky Mountain National Park Bear Lake Fall Engagement Session | Shayla and Dave

Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is such an incredible place to visit during the fall season. Filled with aspens, a view of the mountains, and a crystal clear lake, Bear Lake on Bear Lake Rd was the perfect place to do some engagement session exploring for Shayla and Dave. Sitting around 9500 feet, this beautiful alpine lake sits beneath Hallett Peak, and reflects all of the colorful aspens around the trail.

Shayla and Dave are recent Colorado transplants, who originally connected through chance on New Years Eve at a ski resort in Northern Michigan! After starting their relationship long distance, the couple eventually moved to Colorado, and fell in love with the scenic mountains, and of course, more in love with each other. The two are getting married closer to their family homes at the picturesque Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, so Bear Lake was the next best thing to capture the vibe of their wedding venue!

I am hard pressed to imagine a more perfect location to do an engagement session than surrounded by an alpine lake and colorful fall colors at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, and I know these two would agree.
