Hi, I’m Jennifer
After graduating from college with a degree in photojournalism and documentary filmmaking, I scored a free ticket to Stagecoach -- Coachella’s country music little sister -- and tumbled backward into the world of entertainment stock photography.
Turns out complimenting someone on their camera (especially when the person holding the camera is the Getty Images hiring manager) can open some crazy doors. Who knew? So began a whirlwind of red carpets, awards shows, and the occasional jaunt to Hawaii as a Getty Images Photographer.
While the experience is an absolute blast, I decided to dive headfirst into the world of weddings, too. And that’s when my world changed forever. There was something so mesmerizing and endearing about the simple interactions between a couple in love. I couldn’t get enough of vibrant couples who laughed easily and leaped before they looked. Who don’t mind a little dirt on their hem, and who take surprises in stride.
Eventually, couples like these -- like you -- inspired me to go all-in on the work I loved most!
Today, I travel from the west coast to the Midwest and back again to document wedding days from start to finish.
My signature true-to-color editing style makes for images that look just like you remember them. And by avoiding the ebb and flow of trendy editing, I ensure your photos will never go out of style. But my photography experience is about so much more than the edits I make in post-production. It’s about an engaged preparation process, collaboration with your vendors, and unintrusive preservation of the moments you’ll always want to remember.
Through my signature all-day photography collection, you’ll never have to worry that something will slip by unphotographed. I’ll be there to see it all. And when you’re old and gray, you’ll be able to snuggle up close with the love of your life (who’s still hot stuff after all these years, of course) to relive everything that made your wedding day so special.
When I’m not kicking it with couples or editing away on my latest galleries, I’m probably playing Pokémon Go! (yes, some of us are still totally addicted!), planning my next hammock-under-the-stars camping trip, cuddling baby cattle at my parents’ ranch, or fist-pumping my Simba-tattooed arm to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” on my way to Disneyland. And you better believe I always have multiple sets of plane tickets booked, whether to visit my husband’s family in Sweden, my family on their cattle ranch in Nebraska, or a couple counting down the days ‘til I do.
